Opportunities:
Cancer Kids First allows for a plethora of remote volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can work with the Arts Program, the Patient Interaction Program, the Care Package Program, or the Toy/ Book Program. These programs build a support system for children struggling with cancer, and allow volunteers to provide support remotely.
Arts Program: Volunteers will make handmade and digital cards/crafts which will be distributed to kids at cancer hospitals globally.
Patient Interaction Program: CKF will host virtual Zooms with volunteers and cancer patients to provide critical social interaction with conversations, games, and more.
Care Package Program: Care packages filled with toys, books, and other items are mailed to individual pediatric cancer patients throughout the United States
Toy/ Book Program: CKF sends boxes of new toys and books to cancer hospitals all over the United States to provide entertainment for children receiving treatment.
