Opportunities:
The Sharing Shelf is an organization that addresses the issue of clothing insecurity in Westchester County. Volunteers have many opportunities to assist this organization in helping those in need.
Age Requirements: Volunteers must be 14+ and those who are under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Warehouse Volunteering: Volunteers can work at the Sharing Shelf warehouse. They can sort and pack clothing for donation. The Sharing Shelf warehouse is located at 47 Purdy Ave, in Port Chester.
Clothing Drives: Volunteers also have the opportunity to organize their own clothing drives in the community! Working with the Sharing Shelf, these clothing drives can allow the organization to help even more people in need in the Westchester area.
