The Village of Mamaroneck Committee for the Environmental is a volunteer board made up of 11 residents who advise the Board of Trustees on ways to protect our natural resources from further damage, and to initiate, promote and recommend the adoption of laws designed to improve the health of the land, water and air in and around this unique waterfront village. The CftE is responsible for providing information about environmental concerns, raising awareness; promoting the quality of life in the Village; and encouraging participation in programs to reduce waste, increase recycling, decrease pollution, reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint.
