Opportunities:
​The Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force is a non profit organization devoted to collecting and donating food to local families in need. Volunteers gather, move, pack, and distribute food to aid the people in the community who cannot afford food after paying medical bills along with rent.
Distributing Food: Volunteers can distribute food to people in need. Once the food is collected, volunteers ages 16 and older can distribute the food on their own. People under 16 are required to be with an adult.
Packing Food: Volunteers can opt to help package and organize previously donated food, under the supervision of a regularly attending supervisor.
Other Opportunities: Volunteers are greatly appreciated at the Hunger Task Force. Many people are needed as other opportunities will come up.
